Berkeley based artist extraordinaire Brendan Monroe's paintings, sculptures, illustrations and toys are increasingly causing a stir. While his vegetable-heavy motifs debauch the conclusion that his art is somehow organic, a quote from the web sums it up best: "saying Brendan Monroe's art is organic is like saying Dr. Suess really liked illustrating children's books."
