Created by artist Gordon Young, and designed in collaboration with Why Not Associates, the Comedy Carpet is a typographic celebration of comedy on an extraordinary scale.
Curated by Lukas Feireiss the exhibition presents a selection of projects that seek to improve social, economic and environmental conditions through architectural and artistic means.
The charity event will feature works by Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Space Invader, Ben Eine, JR, Mr.Brainwash and Slinkachu for the first time together in a group show in Italy.
TM–City, a three-dimensional installation based on the work of graphic designer Richard Niessen, will be on show in Bern. Richard Niessen will also give a lecture and a workshop.
For this show at the Pinakothek der Moderne designer and Creative Director Mirko Borsche reduces the visual language of his original works to hand-painted posters.
