"Fragiles was one of the highlights of Design Miami 07, with a great selection of objects and great presentation." That's dezeen magazine editor Marcus Fairs' resume of the exhibition that was curated and produced by dgv and took place at Design Miami from December 6 - 9th. This is our documentary of the event.

We presented over 200 pieces from over 50 designers with a full range of design and art projects of all sizes and editions! Fragiles exceeded all our expectations and was very well received by collectors and visitors as well as the media. Editor of the design blog MoCo Loco Sally Kuchar exclaimed that Fragiles "was by far my favorite satellite event during Design Week in Miami. The amount of work that was on display was incredible, and each object spoke volumes about the designer or artists personal style. Truly something you should not have missed!"

The documentary features interviews with a.o. designer Stephen Burks, Jason Miller, Commonwealth and artist Hans van Bentem as well as quotes from visitors, impressions of the actual location and - naturally - the amazing objects.

But we won't rest on our laurels since the show must go on so you might like to check the Fragiles website for more inspiring and outstanding objects and pieces of art. There's still more to come with the book in March 2008 which will feature projects from the show and many more in a 272 page volume.
