Submissions

We are open for submissions from visionaries across the creative spectrum with new proposals for books, so do get in touch.

First of all, take a close look at our publishing program and consider carefully how your proposal relates to it. Our adult books cover Architecture & Interior, Design & Fashion, Food & Beverage, Escape, Travel, alongside a vibrant Children’s List covering picture books, non-fiction, novelty, pop-ups.

Please note, that we do not publish fiction or poetry and ensure your submission resonates with our established subject areas. Regrettably, we also cannot accommodate portfolio submissions or service offers from illustrators or photographers.

Submit your proposal to proposals@gestalten.com. Please avoid mailing physical samples, as we are unable to return them.

Your proposal should contain

• a brief abstract
• a prospective table of contents
• your envisioned audience
• at least 10 low-res images
• a short biography.

For efficiency, please email your proposal as attachments, ensuring the total file size does not exceed 20MB. Avoid using file transfer services
